Services

Professor Sunday Bassey Udoh is an embodiment of Family Medicine who lectures and instructs at the Department of Family Medicine at University of Uyo.

He holds an MBBS degree, FWACP and FMCFM in Family Medicine and a Certificate in Medical Ultrasonography.

In the University, he is a one-time Vice Dean, Faculty of Clinical Science and Head of Department of Family Medicine. He also had been a Member of Senate Business Committee and Faculty Board of Studies, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.

Outside the University, he is the current Secretary General, Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria(SOFPON). More of his experiences can be gleaned in this knowledgebase.

Professionally, he holds membership in six professional bodies which includes Nigerian Medical Association, Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON), Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria (MDCAN) etc.

His research effort has pioneered and made discoveries in Family Medicine and has led several Journal Articles and other publications. Majority are open access at the Publications page.

He is married and blessed with beautiful children.
